Your security tools block and record all month long. Once a month, MPJM analyses what they recorded and hands you a written report: what happened, what changed and what needs doing.

It is a review, not day-to-day surveillance. Almost nobody reads those records, until the day one of them mattered. The monthly review makes sure they are read, and that what they say leads to a decision.

What the review covers

  • Protection on your workstations and servers

which devices are protected, whether protection is up to date, threats detected and isolated by the tool.

  • Security updates

software and systems that are out of date, by severity.

  • Your email

what was blocked, quarantined or marked as junk, and what that says about your filtering.

  • Your firewall

attack attempts blocked and websites refused.

What the report contains

  1. One page for management, readable in two minutes: what changed this month, what needs a decision, and what it costs.

  2. The technical detail behind it, with the evidence, for whoever wants to check.

  3. Recommendations that say what to do on Monday morning: for each one, the priority, who takes care of it, by when, and its cost or "included in the contract".

  4. Follow-up on earlier recommendations: what is done, what is under way, what was postponed.

What the tools do, and what the review does

The tools block on their own what they can block: a threat isolated on a workstation, an attack stopped at the firewall, an email quarantined. They record the rest. At the review, anything that needs someone to act becomes a recommendation in the report, with an owner and a deadline. Fixes are done through a monthly block of hours or on quotation, whichever you prefer.

The commitment

The service is taken for twelve months. Twelve reports make a year of dated evidence about the state of your security, and it takes that long to see whether recommendations are really being followed.

Pricing

From $2,000 per month, on a twelve-month commitment.

The exact amount depends on your network and the tools already in place.

It is set in writing before we start.

How it starts

  1. A free network consultation, to understand your network as it is.

  2. A written proposal: what the review will cover, the tools needed, the amount.

  3. Access and tools set up, then a first report at the end of the first full month.
